Archbishop Shawn McKnight said Mass for over 100 Serrans from 6 Serra Clubs from both KS and MO.  In his address before the luncheon, he emphasized that vocations come from parishes that have a strong relationship with Jesus not from any "program" the Serran Clubs pull together.  He encouraged us to pray for all youth to discern their vocation.

McKnight encouraged the Serrans to take advantage of the tours to the seminaries to learn how our priest are being formed.  We now have seminarians in fours seminaries - Pontifical College Josephinum in Columbus, OH; Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in St. Louis; St. John Vianney Seminary in Denver; and Conception Seminary College in Missouri.   The next opportunity will be Nov. 7 for the Kenrick-Glennon Auction.  Also, in October the Serra Clubs of JOCO and KC in Ks will visit one of our seminaries.  That trip has not been scheduled at this time.  You will find the details on this website once it is scheduled.
